History of Urdu Literature has a great sense of criticism, Urdu “Tazkara” (critical biography) is an important chapter of it, “Tazkara" (critical biography) having a tradition of three to four centuries, made a great contribution to the literature field of Urdu criticism based on it as there “Tazkara” (critical biography) is the first stone in this aspect. Famous poets like Meer Taqi Meer and Nawab Mustafa Khan Sheifta also contributed to this aspect. In the current era, ‘Shakhsiat Abad’ is one of the important Tazkara. In this article brief history and importance of this Tazkara are discussed. Through this article, people will know more about it, and it will be beneficial in the future for the students of Urdu literature.
