Irfan Javed is a renowned sketch writer. He has sketched various contemporary literary and social personalities. His sketches reflect his era. “ Darwazy” is his first book of sketches. The sketches of this book reflect the personalities as well as the social and political situation of this era. An effort has been made through this article to present a critical overview of Irfan Javed's sketching in the context of his book "Darwazy”
