Abstract

The relationship between politics and literature is quite old, and many Urdu writers have tried to exercise their right to express their theories of literature by raising their voice against the constraints of time. Notable names include Bashir Badr, Nida Fazli, Javed Akhtar, Rahat Indori, Mustafa Zaidi, Manzar Rana, Shakil Badayuni, Arshad Nishat, and Rasa Chughtai. While almost everyone expresses their feelings about the current situations in a poetic manner, it is difficult to find someone like Kishwar. Naheed who has expressed his ideas in literary form using verbal structures. Such personalities are those who not only fearlessly wrote their literary theories in the face of changing trends but also their poetic and prose works embody their concepts. In the context of Kiswar Naheeds book "Dairon Mein Pheli Lakeer" (The Line Spread in Circles), the role of a writer in representing the style of a writer will be expressed through the themes of his poetry.
