Abstract

Samporan Singh Kalra known as Gulzar is a well-known and 
multidimensional personality: scriptwriter, film director, short story writer, 
lyricist, and poet. Time plays a vital role in his poetry. He thinks and 
expresses different ideas of time in his poetry. Sometimes his poetry 
expresses his nostalgic mood and sometimes he portrays a bitter picture of 
the past.
