Muslims and Hindus, after living together for hundreds of years, neither became one nation nor did their civilisation and culture become identical. The main reason for the creation of Pakistan is the difference between the civilisations and cultures of both nations. Pakistan is not the outcome of a war; it has been titled as the Renaissance for the Muslims. This Renaissance provided the opportunity for Muslims of the Indian subcontinent to prove their splendid past and tremendous pinnacle in the future. But many controversies arose regarding the civilizational and cultural structure of Pakistan, just after its creation. Whether it should be purely Islamic civilisation or a mixture of Hindu and Muslim civilisations. This article highlights the motives and evolution of Pakistani civilization which helps in the identification of Pakistani civilisation and culture.
