Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi was a humanistic author. He has variety of topics. In this article, horrors of war described in the short stories of Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi have been analyzed. Nadeem was desirous of peace. He strongly opposed war. He knew how painful the direct and indirect effects of war were. He felt this pain heartily. This very pain reflects in his short stories. Nadeem favored common man. He wishes to grant a sigh of relief to such suppressed people. His art faced evolutionary stages, but at every stage he wrote about humanity irrespective of colour, race and religion. He maintained the glory of literariness despite of purposefulness.
Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, who left an indelible mark on Urdu literature and achieved great fame during his lifetime, spent nearly a century creating literature. As a humanistic writer and voice for humanity, he deeply felt the suffering of millions. He dedicated his life to fighting class exploitation with his pen. Qasmi's genius knew no bounds, and he excelled in multiple forms of literary expression, earning unmatched fame in the process.
